Previewing 2025 Golf Fashions

By Eileen Klink

Attending the annual PGA Show in Florida every January is always a thrilling experience, and for good reason. It's the largest trade show in the golf industry. Since launching my golf apparel business, Skorzie, I haven’t missed a single one.

However, there's another PGA event that's a bit more under the radar but holds immense value for golf fashion merchandising goals: the PGA Buying Summit. Held each July at the PGA headquarters in Frisco, Texas this smaller, but more focused gathering is a gem. The venue itself is exhilarating, featuring the PGA of America's impressive facilities, including the PGA Coaching Center, two world-class golf courses, an expansive practice area with its Ice House Hitting Bays and Top Golf Simulators, and luxurious accommodations at the OMNI PGA Frisco Resort. As a passionate golfer, I'd visit this place even without a business objective.

When it comes to fashion, the Summit’s focus on Spring 2025 collections has my full attention. There's nothing like experiencing next year’s fashion firsthand—touching the fabrics, observing the designs in real time. The Summit's kickoff event is a spectacular fashion show showcasing 2025 fashions from both new and established brands. Highlights for me included the "Flow" dress by AIEA Golf, Fore All's "Fore" sweater, and Never A Wallflower's chic jacket and pleated skort ensemble.

The PGA Buying Summit zeroes in on emerging golf fashion. With over 150 vendors present, I left with more buying prospects than ever before! Here are a few standout brands that caught my attention. They had exciting, fresh offerings and will surely be additions to my store (and possibly your closet) in 2025:

  • CoCal: This Italian brand offers stylish golf, tennis, and pickleball apparel. I was impressed by their range of pants and shorts made from stretchy fabrics with elastic waists, perfect for golf. Shop at: www.cocalwear.com.
  • Kastel of Denmark: This luxury brand is making waves in the golf fashion world with its beautifully designed long-sleeve tops featuring floral and geometric prints, and unique mesh details. Their garments are made from high-tech, antibacterial, breathable UPF 30+ fabric. Shop at: www.kasteldenmark.com.
  • ForeAll: Known for standout dresses, their collection includes the “Dame Dress” with ribbed fabric, a chic high collar, and a contrast waistband. Pair it with their soft and stylish Fore Sweater for a bold golf look. Shop at: www.foreall.com.
  • Swing Control: This brand consistently delivers contemporary patterns and flattering pants with wide stretch waistbands. Their Spring 2025 collection features new patterns that blend seamlessly with existing bestsellers, allowing customers to build on their Swing Control outfits. Their technical features include moisture-wicking, breathability, and stretch. Shop at: www.swingcontrol.com.
  • AIEA Golf: This newer company brings an athleisure flair to golf apparel. I loved their mock neck sleeveless top with an invisible zipper and athletic logo, paired with the Fairway Skort—ideal for a post-round yoga session. Shop at: www.aieagolf.com.
  • Never A Wallflower: This brand exudes vibrancy and energy with its resort-style pieces and activewear perfect for the course. I was particularly taken with the Golf Balls Straight Skirt and the Golf Balls Sweater Vest. You definitely won’t blend into the background in these outfits. Shop at: www.neverawallflower.com

Attending my first PGA Buying Summit exceeded all my expectations. I made fantastic connections and discovered incredible fashion finds that I’m eager to share with my golf fashionista shoppers and girlfriends!
